About:
Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Program funds will be awarded competitively to (1) strategically deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, hydrogen fueling infrastructure, propane fueling infrastructure, and natural gas fueling infrastructure located on public roads or in other publicly accessible locations, known as the Community Program, and (2) to strategically deploy charging and alternative fueling infrastructure located along designated alternative fuel corridors, known as the Corridor Program.

The U.S. Department of Transportation published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for $700 million (FY22 and FY 23 combined) in grant funding through the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure discretionary grant program on March 14, 2023.
