About Us

The NDOT Procurement unit oversees the acquisition of complex, multi-million-dollar commodity, maintenance, service and Information Technology (IT) procurement contracts critical to supporting the department’s mission and operations. Our unit ensures a transparent, efficient procurement processes that fosters broad-based competition within the free enterprise system, delivers value to the state, and complies with all applicable state and/or federal purchasing laws and regulations.

Our Work is Organized Across Three Key Areas:

Contract Management
Overseeing the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance and successful delivery of services and materials.

Supplier Relations
Building and maintaining productive relationships with vendors and suppliers that encourages competition and fair and equitable treatment of all vendors. 

Procurement Compliance & Policy
Establishing and enforcing procurement policies and procedures to ensure all purchases meet state laws, ethical standards, and NDOT’s strategic goals.
