Training Opportunities

Drug and Alcohol Program Management Training (DAPM)

This eight-hour virtual training course will be hosted in three-hour increments over the three days. Attendance at all three 3-hour sessions is required to complete the training and receive a certificate. Drug and Alcohol Program Management (DAPM) training is required for sub-recipient program managers. If you did not attend the DAPM training last year, you must attend this DAPM training as required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)s. Details and scheduling information will be shared via email.

Reasonable Suspicion Training

The virtual session is provided for transit system employees who may be responsible for making reasonable suspicion determinations. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol Testing Program regulations state that an employer must require a covered employee to submit to a drug and/or alcohol test when the employer has reasonable suspicion that the employee has used a prohibited drug or misused alcohol. Details and scheduling information will be shared via email.
