NDOT’s Local Assistance programs distribute state and federal transportation funding to local public agencies across Nebraska. These programs support infrastructure improvements, safety initiatives, and community transportation projects while providing technical guidance and project delivery support. NDOT’s Local Assistance also supports public transportation systems across Nebraska through state and federal transit funding, helping improve mobility options and access to transportation services for communities.
NDOT is committed to investing transportation funding in ways that support Nebraska’s economy, enhance safety, and improve mobility for people and goods across the state. Through strategic use of state and federal transportation resources, NDOT works to deliver projects that strengthen infrastructure, support local communities, and ensure long-term transportation system sustainability.
