Consultant Certification
In accordance with Rev. Neb. Stat. §81-1712 (3), any consulting firm desiring to provide professional services on State or Federal-aid projects in the State of Nebraska must first be certified by the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT). The certification period corresponds to the State’s fiscal year (July 1st – June 30th). Additional steps are required for firms seeking to be certified for NEPA Studies.
CONSULTANT ONLINE CERTIFICATION UPDATE:
June 21, 2022 – NDOT is now accepting Consultant Annual Certifications for fiscal year 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023). New firms or firms not currently certified must fill out and submit the electronic NDOT Form 497, available here. If your firm is currently certified, existing certification information will be migrated to our certification database and a recertification link will be emailed to the primary contact(s) as listed on the latest NDOT Form 497 from your firm. If a currently certified firm does not get a recertification link emailed to them by Friday, June 24, 2022, you will need to fill out a new certification using the link above. Firms seeking certification or recertification for NEPA Studies are required to submit their entire NEPA qualifications packet when completing the NDOT Form 497.
NOTE: All existing certifications expiring 6/30/2022 have been extended to 7/31/2022.
